A major change is on the horizon within the BCCI, with reports suggesting that Roger Binny may resign as president. Vice-President Rajeev Shukla has been appointed as the interim president to manage the transition. Shukla led a meeting of BCCI officials on August 27th, focusing on finding new sponsorships after Dream 11 withdrew. Binny was appointed president in 2022, succeeding Sourav Ganguly. Considering Binny’s age, he is expected to step down from the position shortly.
