A family of five in Koderma district has been hospitalized due to a severe bout of food poisoning. The incident, which occurred in Behradih village of Domchanch block, is linked to a meal of rice and litti consumed by the family. All five members developed symptoms, including significant diarrhea, shortly after eating.
Initial attempts at home treatment were unsuccessful, and their condition worsened. The family then consulted a local doctor, but the prescribed medicines did not lead to any recovery. As their health became critical, they were admitted to Koderma Sadar Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors are diligently managing their care, and all patients are now in a stable condition. The medical diagnosis points clearly to food poisoning as the cause.
The individuals who fell ill are Kanchan Devi (40), her daughters Sweety Kumari (13), Roshni Kumari (16), Reena Kumari (18), and her son Asmit Rajvansh (9).
