Vice President CP Radhakrishnan’s arrival electrified Bengaluru’s HAL Airport on Wednesday morning, courtesy of a dedicated Air Force flight. The high-profile visit centers on honoring Sri Shivakumar Swamiji’s legacy at Tumkur’s Siddaganga Mutt and joining CMR Institute of Technology’s milestone silver jubilee.

A distinguished group greeted him, led by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot. Present were MoS Railways V Somanna, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, Chief Secretary Dr Shalini Rajneesh, DGP MA Saleh, Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh, DM G Jagdish, and senior officials, ensuring a ceremony befitting his stature.

From the tarmac, he swiftly helicoptered to Tumkur for the seventh annual memorial at Sri Siddaganga Mutt, captivating attendees as chief guest in a tribute to the swami’s enduring influence on education and piety.

Radhakrishnan captured the moment on X: a warm welcome at NAL Airport by Governor Gehlot, Somanna, Gundu Rao, and dignitaries. His schedule peaks with CMRIT’s 25-year festivities, spotlighting institutional growth.

Fresh from Delhi engagements, he had toured the Kasturba Museum at Gandhi Ashram, moved by Gandhi couple’s simple abode that mirrored sacrifice and resolve propelling the freedom fight. The visit resonated as a timeless lesson in humility.

Inaugurating Mahadev Desai Library’s extension at Harijan Sevak Sangh, he advocated knowledge’s transformative power. ‘Beyond expansion, it’s our faith in enlightenment as the catalyst for societal evolution,’ he asserted.

Through these engagements, the Vice President weaves threads of devotion, learning, and legacy, inspiring Karnataka and beyond with a vision rooted in India’s noble past.
