Vice President CP Radhakrishnan’s arrival electrified Bengaluru’s HAL Airport on Wednesday morning, courtesy of a dedicated Air Force flight. The high-profile visit centers on honoring Sri Shivakumar Swamiji’s legacy at Tumkur’s Siddaganga Mutt and joining CMR Institute of Technology’s milestone silver jubilee.
A distinguished group greeted him, led by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot. Fresh from Delhi engagements, he had toured the Kasturba Museum at Gandhi Ashram, moved by Gandhi couple’s simple abode that mirrored sacrifice and resolve propelling the freedom fight. The visit resonated as a timeless lesson in humility.
Inaugurating Mahadev Desai Library’s extension at Harijan Sevak Sangh, he advocated knowledge’s transformative power. ‘Beyond expansion, it’s our faith in enlightenment as the catalyst for societal evolution,’ he asserted.
