    Brian Bennett, a 21-year-old cricketer representing Zimbabwe, has broken new ground in the world of T20 International cricket. He has established a unique world record by scoring six fours in a single over. This incredible achievement took place during the 2026 T20 World Cup qualifying match against Kenya. The historical over occurred during the fourth over of Zimbabwe’s innings. Bennett faced Kenyan bowler Lucas Oluoch and went on to hit six consecutive boundaries, making T20I history. Aside from the remarkable record, Bennett contributed 51 runs from 25 balls, maintaining a strike rate above 204. His innings was composed of eight fours and two sixes. In the match, Kenya batted first and scored 122 runs, losing 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Bennett, opening the batting for Zimbabwe, played a crucial part in a 76-run opening partnership with his partner. Out of the 76-run opening stand, 51 runs came from Bennett’s bat, which included the groundbreaking six fours in a single over.
