Revenue Matters Will Be Heard Every Thursday
People Will No Longer Have to Travel Far
Raipur, May 02, 2025 / The effect of the Chhattisgarh government’s good governance policy, which prioritizes public interest, is now visible at the ground level. During the Festival of Good Governance, considering the long-standing demand of the general public, the district administration of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, following the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has given a big gift to the residents of Bhatgaon. Now, an SDM Link Court will be held every Thursday at the Bhatgaon Tehsil office, due to which people will no longer have to go to Bilaigarh, Sarangarh for revenue matters.
According to the order issued by Collector Sarangarh-Bilaigarh Dr. Kannauje, the court of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Bilaigarh will now be temporarily held every Thursday at the Tehsil office, Bhatgaon. This arrangement will remain in effect until further orders. This link court will enable the hearing and speedy disposal of revenue, criminal and all court cases related to Sarsiwan and Bhatgaon tehsils. Through this, administrative procedures will be simplified and access to justice will be easier for the common man.
This decision has brought joy to the citizens of the area. For a long time, people had to go to Bilaigarh or Sarangarh for the disposal of revenue cases. Now, the common people will get great relief due to judicial proceedings at the local level itself. This initiative is an important step towards administrative decentralization, which will strengthen both the justice system and the revenue administration. This link court will further strengthen the resolve of good governance. The launch of the SDM Link Court in Bhatgaon is proof that the Festival of Good Governance is not just a formality, but a means of bringing about concrete changes in the lives of the common people.
