The city of Bhilai is gearing up to host a grand Shiva Mahapurana Katha during the holy month of Shravan. Pandit Pradeep Mishra Maharaj, a renowned storyteller, will be delivering the Shiva Katha at the Jayanti Stadium. The ground-breaking ceremony has already taken place. The Shiva Mahapurana Katha will run from July 30 to August 5, with the participation of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and both Deputy Chief Ministers.
Day Singh, the organizer, announced that SSP Vijay Agrawal, along with ASP Sukhnandan Rathore, City Superintendent of Police Satyaprakash Tiwari, and Prashant Mishra, inspected the preparations for the event, including the pandal and parking. Mayor Neeraj Pal, Municipal Health Officer Javed Khan, and other officials were also present. The Mayor congratulated Day Singh on the second year of the Katha and promised to attend.
