The buses that used to be full once are now barely able to fill even half.

    Highlights

AICTSL could not maintain the comfortable travelling facility. Currently, 32 valve buses are being run between Indore and Bhopal. Passengers are neither provided water bottles nor snacks in the bus.

Naiduniya Representative, Indore. Bhopal Indore Valvo Bus: Indore-Bhopal Valvo Bus Service, which was once the most luxurious and flagship bus service of the state, has now become dilapidated and useless. Initially, this bus service was so luxurious and punctual that Air India had to stop the connecting flight of Indore-Bhopal.

Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) was set up on the instructions of the government. Now this service is in a bad shape. Due to lack of maintenance, the buses have become a wreck and they often miss time.

Passengers are neither given water nor snack packets inside the bus. Despite the lack of facilities and decline in comfortable travel, the fare has been continuously increased. With time the facilities have stopped and passengers are having to struggle to complete the journey.

Due to road construction in Shipra, there is some problem regarding the timing of buses. As far as the buses getting old is concerned, soon these buses will be replaced with new buses. The process has been started. We try our best to ensure that passengers do not face any kind of inconvenience. – Roshan Agarwal, Operator, Chartered Bus

    32 buses running between Indore-Bhopal

Currently, 32 buses are running daily between Indore and Bhopal. Out of these, 20 buses are operated by AICTSL and 12 buses are run by Bhopal City Link Limited (BCL). The condition of most of the buses is bad. The cleanliness system inside is also bad.

    Operations stopped on many routes

Most of the buses on AICTSL’s Indore-Bhopal route have become old. The buses which used to be full initially are now not carrying even half the capacity of people. On many routes, the situation is such that the operation of buses has been stopped.
