Lucknow. Major action has been taken against 17 medical officers who were absent from duty in Uttar Pradesh. Deputy CM and Health Minister Brijesh Pathak has ordered the dismissal of these medical officers. Along with this, disciplinary action has also been taken against three doctors.

Announcing this action, the Deputy CM said, those who are negligent in medical services will not be spared. Strict action will be taken against them. In this connection, on Thursday, 17 doctors who were absent from medical services for a long time have been dismissed from duty.
