    Balodabazar. After the incident of violence and sabotage in Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh, a major relief has now come to light. The Bail High Court has approved the bail of 43 people arrested in the Collectorate campus violence and arson case at the district headquarters. It is believed that with this, the way has also been cleared regarding the bail of Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav.

    It is noteworthy that on 10 June 2024, there was a fierce violence, arson and sabotage in the Collectorate premises. The police have arrested a total of 187 people in this violence case. But due to the delay in the trial, the High Court has approved the bail plea of ​​43 of these people.

    It is noteworthy that the arson and violence in Balodabazar had shocked the entire state. This is the first such incident in the entire country in which the Collector and SP office were burnt by the miscreants. In the violence, the miscreants had damaged government and private property worth 12.5 crore. Following the dispute arising after the Amargufa village of Mahakoni village at Girodpuri Dham, a fierce mob vandalized and set the Balodabazar city and district joint office on 10 June. The Chief Office of the district administration- SP and Collector’s office were set on fire by miscreants. In this arson, more than 200 vehicles, including two fire engines, were set on fire. More than 25 police personnel were injured. In this incident, loss of assets worth Rs 12.53 crore has been assessed.
