Political tensions are high in Bihar concerning the Election Commission’s voter list revision process, specifically the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The NDA and Mahagathbandhan alliances are clashing over the issue. Upendra Kushwaha, a prominent MP, criticized the Mahagathbandhan. Union Minister Giriraj Singh targeted Rahul Gandhi. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) protested against the Bihar government, citing the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report.

Upendra Kushwaha stated that the opposition’s claims of voter manipulation are baseless, as they lack sufficient voter support. He believes the public’s support is with the NDA.

Giriraj Singh questioned the legitimacy of Rahul Gandhi’s past victories, hinting at the use of ‘invisible voters.’ He further cast doubt on the planned joint campaign of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.

The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Rakesh Yadav, protested at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office. The protest was triggered by the CAG report which detailed a lack of accountability for ₹71,000 crore in government funds. The CAG report suggested that, without proper documentation, these funds may have been misused.
