    In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, a crucial meeting took place in Bihar under the leadership of Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena. The meeting, held at the main secretariat, focused on coordinating election readiness, with officials from Bhagalpur and Munger divisions in attendance. Detailed reports were presented by District Magistrates, Police Superintendents, and other officials on vital aspects of election management. These reports covered the status of polling stations, security arrangements, voter list updates, and adherence to the Model Code of Conduct.

    The Chief Secretary set a target of achieving a zero poll boycott in the upcoming elections. Recognizing the urgency, he urged all officers to diligently fulfill their duties. He also mandated vehicle checks in districts at different times and operationalization of border check posts. Police Superintendents were tasked with verifying arms holders at their homes.

    Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjial underscored the significance of widespread voter awareness. He instructed BLOs to ensure the timely collection and submission of household forms. He also encouraged promotional activities in urban areas. Comprehensive outreach programs are planned to boost voter engagement.

    The Director General of Police, Vinay Kumar, ordered the creation of a comprehensive list of all types of criminals. He instructed for the expedited resolution of Arms Act cases. Police stations were directed to remain alert during the election, with all SPs instructed to enhance security.
