Farmers from across Bihar converged on Patna to protest what they described as unfair treatment in government development projects. The farmers specifically raised concerns about the low prices offered for their land during acquisition. The protest was led by RJD MP Sudhakar Singh of Buxar, with thousands participating in the demonstration. The farmers specifically alleged that they were being compensated at rates from 2010, which was much lower than the legal requirements outlined in the 2013 Land Acquisition Act. The demonstration, organized by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, started at Buddha Park in Patna. The farmers also opposed the current route planned for the NH-319A project.

Rajesh Ram, the Bihar Pradesh Congress President, claimed that the Congress’s recent campaign had exposed the BJP’s alleged misdeeds. Dr. Santosh Suman of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) criticized Rahul Gandhi and his chances in Bihar.

Dipankar Bhattacharya from CPM-ML brought up concerns regarding the voter list revision. The NDA held worker conferences in several assembly constituencies. JDU leaders spoke about the present government’s achievements and criticized the opposition.

Several NDA leaders spoke at conferences for party workers. Dr. Dilip Jaiswal from the BJP addressed the workers in Ujiarpur. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha spoke in Bochaha. Nityanand Rai addressed the workers in Chanpatia, Sanjay Jaiswal in Amanour, Mangal Pandey in Jamui, and Giriraj Singh in Banmankhi. The speakers highlighted the NDA’s focus on the development of Bihar.
