Bihar Government Simplifies Ration Card Process with Online Application

The Bihar government is focused on improving citizen services by launching an online ration card application process. This initiative allows residents to apply for their ration cards from home, saving time and effort. The online application portal, located at Rconline.bihar.gov.in, simplifies the registration and application process. The ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ initiative enables ration card holders to collect their rations from any PDS shop within or outside Bihar. The Antyodaya Anna Yojana provides subsidized food grains, with 35 kg per month for eligible families and 5 kg per person for priority households. Applicants need to upload necessary documents such as Aadhaar cards and bank passbooks to complete the process.
