Bihar Government’s New Initiatives: Pension Increase, Marriage Halls, and Subsidized Meals

The Bihar government has launched several new initiatives. The ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Mandap Yojana’ aims to build marriage halls in every panchayat for economically weaker sections with the allocation of ₹40 billion 26 crore 50 lakh. ‘Didi Ki Rasoi’ meals will now be available at ₹20 per plate, subsidized by the government. The social security pension has been raised to ₹1,100 per month, impacting over a crore beneficiaries. The loan limit for Jeevika’s business activities has been enhanced. Moreover, the government will oversee road construction projects across numerous districts.
