    In a bid to enhance the effectiveness of the Bihar Police, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has commissioned 618 new vehicles for the force. This new fleet includes 520 four-wheelers and 98 two-wheelers, which are expected to significantly improve the police’s operational capabilities and mobility throughout the state. The handover ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. During the event, CM Kumar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring public safety, highlighting the provision of advanced resources to the police. He emphasized that these new vehicles will lead to increased patrolling, faster response times, and wider area coverage. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to make optimal use of the new vehicles and stressed the importance of the police maintaining public trust through responsible and efficient service. This initiative aims to improve emergency response and enhance crime control efforts. The event was initiated with a presentation of a green plant to the Chief Minister by Director General of Police Vinay Kumar. The occasion was also graced by the presence of high-level officials and dignitaries, including Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena.
