Tej Pratap Yadav, the president of the Jan Shakti Janata Dal and son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, has offered his views on these developments.
In Patna, during a media interaction, Tej Pratap Yadav criticized Pawan Singh, suggesting his actions are characteristic of someone who frequently seeks favor. He referenced previous instances to support his claims, implying a pattern of behavior. Tej Pratap believes that Pawan Singh, given his background, should concentrate on his artistic career instead of entering politics.
Tej Pratap stated his opinion that Pawan Singh’s judgment is impaired and that he should refrain from political involvement. He stated that Singh’s repeated attempts to align himself with various people reflect a lack of clear direction. He thinks Singh should return to his artistic work. Concerning the initiative to include Chhath Puja in UNESCO, Tej Pratap Yadav praised it, calling it a commendable move for Bihar’s cultural heritage. He spoke about his family’s respect for the festival, acknowledging that his mother used to observe the puja.
Tej Pratap also talked about his party’s election symbol, emphasizing the positive impact of the blackboard. He indirectly criticized Prashant Kishor, referencing those carrying school bags. He highlighted the widespread support his party enjoys in Bihar and their commitment to addressing issues at the grassroots level, contrasting them with leaders who are not involved in ground realities.
Tej Pratap also mentioned an incident related to an advertisement and allegations about alcohol being present in school bags. He shared details of a specific instance where a disabled individual was allegedly impacted by a vehicle associated with Prashant Kishor’s organization, Jan Suraaj. He said he intends to visit the affected site and has contacted the authorities, requesting action.
