Bilha Women’s Sanitation Success Celebrated in ‘Mann Ki Baat’

In his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognized the extraordinary work of the women of Bilha, Chhattisgarh, in the realm of sanitation. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended a listening session in Raipur and expressed that this acknowledgment was a source of great pride. He stated that the women of Bilha, trained in waste management, had successfully transformed their city. Sai underscored the significance of collaboration and social engagement in driving the sanitation initiative. Furthermore, he noted the national accolades received by seven cities in Chhattisgarh under the Swachh Bharat Mission and highlighted the outstanding achievements of urban bodies in the Jashpur district in recent sanitation evaluations.
