BJP Gears Up for Bihar Elections with a 45-Member Task Force

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated an extensive election strategy for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. A team of 45 leaders has been mobilized to fortify the party’s presence from the ground level – encompassing booths – up to the Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies. These leaders, drawn from various states, have been assigned to oversee specific Lok Sabha constituencies. Further deployments are planned at the Assembly level in the coming weeks. Each leader will be responsible for six Assembly constituencies. A key meeting in Patna brought together Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in-charge C.R. Patil, Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde. During the meeting, the visiting leaders were briefed on their roles and sent to different areas to spearhead the BJP’s mission in Bihar. The special 45 include prominent figures like MPs Santosh Pandey and Vijay Baghel from Chhattisgarh, and National Vice President Saroj Pandey. The list also includes MPs Ramesh Bidhuri, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra from Delhi. From Gujarat, MPs Devusinh Chauhan, Mitesh Patel, and MLA Amit Thackeray have been given assignments. Additional leaders include former MP Sunita Duggal from Haryana, MP Yugal Kishore Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir, and MPs Manish Jaiswal, Kalicharan Singh, and State Working President Ravindra Rai from Jharkhand. MP Anant Nayak from Odisha is also on the list. Representing Madhya Pradesh are Gajendra Singh Patel, B.D. Sharma, Anil Firozia, Minister Prahlad Patel, and Vishwas Sarang, along with former MPs K.P. Singh Yadav and Arvind Singh Bhadoriya. From Uttar Pradesh, MPs Satish Gautam, Rajkumar Chahar, Sangam Lal Gupta, former MP Vinod Sonkar, former Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi, leader Upendra Tiwari, and MLA Salabh Mani Tripathi are included. The Leader of the Opposition from Rajasthan, Rajendra Rathore, also joins the team. Also included are former MPs, MLAs, and senior organization officials such as Ram Sat Pute (Youth Wing Vice President) and others. According to the party’s plan, appointments at the Assembly level will follow in the coming weeks. The focus for these leaders is not only on campaigning but also on energizing local workers and ensuring the NDA alliance’s victory in every seat. The BJP believes that the ground-level presence and organizational experience of these leaders will be crucial for the election outcome in Bihar.
