BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused the Congress of selling the Petroleum Ministry, pointing to a case from 1956. Dubey claims that the Congress, driven by its wealth, sold the Mining and Petroleum Ministry to Serajuddin. He stated that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru admitted this in the Lok Sabha. According to Dubey, Serajuddin & Company was a known entity in obtaining manganese ore leases. Dubey further pointed out that K.D. Malaviya, who was the minister at the time, was investigated by Supreme Court judge Das, which led to charge sheets and Malaviya’s resignation in 1963. Dubey also alleges that the Gandhi family was involved in a cover-up related to the 1977 Mumbai High oil scam. Before this, Dubey accused the Congress of imprisoning Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur and her son, Colonel Bhawani Singh in 1975. He claimed that Indira Gandhi was driven by jealousy. The Congress has denied these previous claims. The Congress has not yet reacted to the newest allegations, but some users on X have questioned Dubey’s actions over the past 11 years.
