Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, currently receiving accolades for his powerful performance in ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ has provided clarity on the family dynamics of his parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. Bobby revealed in a candid conversation that Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, are living together at their farm in Khandala.
Bobby commented on his father’s emotional online presence, stating, “Papa is very emotional. He’s very expressive. He shares what he’s feeling with everyone… Sometimes he goes overboard, and then I ask him why he wrote what he wrote or said what he said, and he tells me that he was just following his heart.” He explained that his father sometimes gets overly dramatic with his posts, unaware of the broad audience that will see them.
“My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic,” Bobby confirmed. He further shared that his parents enjoy their peaceful life at the farmhouse, finding it a relaxing sanctuary with its favorable climate and excellent cuisine, a place Dharmendra has made into a “paradise.”
Bobby also touched upon his mother’s discretion, saying, “You don’t hear about my mother much because people don’t usually ask us about her.” He emphasized her role as a dedicated homemaker and his close bond with her. Bobby profoundly respects his mother’s strength, describing her as “the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life,” and credited her steadfast support as instrumental to Dharmendra becoming a major film star.
