    Veteran actor Satish Shah’s demise on Saturday has sent ripples of sadness through the Indian film industry, with prominent figures expressing their deep sorrow and respect. Bollywood icons such as Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have shared poignant messages, remembering the versatile actor and comedian. Bachchan spoke of the profound impact of such losses, while Khan reminisced about their long acquaintance. Sushmita Sen, who shared a memorable role with Shah in ‘Main Hoon Na’, sent her regards. Vivek Oberoi, in a heartfelt note, recounted Shah’s supportive nature during his early career and his immense talent in portraying relatable characters like Indravadan Sarabhai. Many other luminaries, including Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, have paid their respects. Long-time colleagues like Johny Lever and Farah Khan highlighted Shah’s invaluable contributions to entertainment and their personal camaraderie. Anupam Kher and Hrithik Roshan also shared their admiration for his knowledge and kindness. The ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ cast was notably present at his cremation, bidding farewell to their beloved co-star. Satish Shah, aged 74, succumbed to kidney complications. His enduring legacy includes critically acclaimed performances in films like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, and ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ensuring his comedic genius will be remembered for generations.
