A transformative moment for Central India’s healthcare landscape unfolded as Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai witnessed the signing of a 15-acre land lease agreement between Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre and Nava Raipur Development Authority. This collaboration at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan marks a pivotal step in establishing Nava Raipur as a Medicity beacon.
Efficiency defined the process: Post the September 24, 2025 investment outreach, all formalities—from site selection to registry—were wrapped up in mere four months. This showcases Chhattisgarh’s streamlined governance, drawing prestigious institutions.
Bombay Hospital Trust’s ₹680 crore investment will erect a 300-bed multi-super-specialty facility on the allotted land—its fourth after thriving centers in Mumbai, Indore, and Jaipur. Specializing in cardiac care, oncology, neurosciences, orthopedics, critical interventions, and organ transplantation, it promises comprehensive services locally.
Beyond medical advancements, the project forecasts 500+ direct jobs for healthcare professionals and extensive indirect employment in ancillary sectors, fueling economic growth.
CM Sai highlighted the government’s proactive stance on health infrastructure. This partnership validates Chhattisgarh’s investor-centric approach under the 2024-30 policy framework. As Nava Raipur rises, it will alleviate the migration of patients to major cities, positioning itself as Central India’s healthcare epicenter and heralding a healthier future.
