Rajshahi Warriors delivered a clinical performance to beat Sylhet Titans by 12 runs in BPL 2025-26’s Qualifier-2, earning a shot at glory against Chattogram Royals on January 23 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.

Sent in to bat, Warriors recovered from a shaky start to reach 165/9. The opening duo of Farhan (26, 4×4, 1×6) and Tanjid (32, 1×4, 4×6) amassed 41 in the first four overs plus four balls, injecting momentum.

Despite slipping to 80/5, Williamson (45* off 38, 1×4, 2×6) and Neesham (44 off 26, 6 boundaries) added 77 crucial runs, stabilizing the innings. Salman Irshad’s three scalps led Titans’ response, backed by two each from Nasum and Mehdi.

Titans’ pursuit of 166 ended at 153/8. Emon’s 48 anchored the innings, with Billings contributing 37 in a key 68-run recovery after early losses at 7/2. But Warriors’ bowlers, spearheaded by Fernando’s devastating 4/19, sealed the deal.

Player of the Match Fernando’s spell was the game-changer, reflecting Warriors’ depth. As BPL builds to its crescendo, Warriors enter the final with momentum, ready to claim the title in a high-stakes battle.
