The F1 movie has become a global box office success, earning nearly INR 4,800 crore worldwide since its June 27 release, with projections of exceeding INR 5,000 crore. Due to its popularity, the film experienced a re-release in early August, maintaining its strong presence in theaters.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film features Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula 1 driver who returns to the sport after his career was cut short by a crash in the 1990s. The story revolves around his efforts to revive a struggling F1 team. The cast includes Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Tobias Menzies, with Lewis Hamilton and Jerry Bruckheimer as producers.

Online viewers will have access to the film soon. The F1 movie will be available for rental on Amazon Prime Video starting August 22. It is also scheduled to stream on Apple TV+, potentially in late September or early October, although an official release date for streaming has not been confirmed.

Even with the upcoming digital release, the F1 movie continues to play in select premium theaters. In Mumbai, it can be viewed at PVR ICON Goregaon, Phoenix Palladium, Metro INOX, and Infiniti Andheri. In Delhi-NCR, showings are available at Cinepolis Saket, PVR Noida, and Director’s Cut, Ambience Mall, in formats like Onyx and Dolby. Limited screenings are also ongoing in Bengaluru at Garuda Mall and Forum Rex Walk.
