Lucknow. The police has arrested a tantrik who raped a woman in the name of tantra-mantra in the capital Lucknow. It is alleged that tantrik Ramnaresh Rawat took a woman to Amritsar in the name of exorcism and treatment, saying that she was possessed by a black demon. He kept the woman hostage for 3 days and raped her. He also kept making a video of the rape. The woman somehow came to Lucknow and told her story to the police. Now the police has arrested the accused.

The accused has been identified as Ramnaresh Rawat (55), resident of village Mastipur, police station Nigoha, Lucknow. At present, the police have arrested him, and further action is being taken.
