  • DNA Exclusive: Exposing ‘Land Jihad’ In Jharkhand, Bangladeshis Illegally Occupying Tribal Lands |

A massive conspiracy is unfolding in Jharkhand, where Bangladeshis are allegedly occupying tribal lands in the Santhal Pargana region. This region, comprising six districts – Godda, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Sahibganj, and Pakur – has seen a significant influx of Bangladeshi immigrants, who are reportedly changing the demographics of the region.

In today’s episode of DNA, Zee News exposed a massive conspiracy unfolding in Jharkhand’s Santhal Pargana region, where tribals are facing a threat from Bangladeshi infiltrators.

These Bangladeshi infiltrators are illegally occupying tribal lands and, in groups of 100-150, are attacking tribal families. Under the nose of the administration, illegal infiltration continues, and tribals are being subjected to atrocities. Today, we will show you an exclusive report on this issue.

The Zee News team reached a village in Pakur where a tribal family was attacked by 150 Bangladeshi infiltrators. This tribal family was attacked because they wanted to remove the occupation of Bangladeshi infiltrators on their land.

The local administration has failed to take action, despite court orders directing them to evict the illegal occupants. In one instance, a tribal family was attacked by over 150 Bangladeshi immigrants when they tried to reclaim their land. The family is now fighting for their lives in a hospital.

The opposition has slammed the Hemant Soren government for its inaction, alleging that the administration is turning a blind eye to the issue. The Jharkhand High Court has also expressed concern over the illegal influx of Bangladeshis in the region.

According to sources, these immigrants are being secretly settled in the region, with some even being provided with fake documents. The local administration has failed to take action, despite knowing about the issue.

In 2023, police officials had complained about Bangladeshis being sheltered in madrasas in the region. They had also alleged that these immigrants were obtaining fake documents and getting their names included in the voter list, posing a threat to the state’s internal security.

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan had also raised concerns about foreign immigrants marrying tribal women, leading to a change in the region’s demographics.

Last month, Home Minister Amit Shah had expressed concern over the issue of Bangladeshi infiltration in Jharkhand. He had promised to bring out a white paper on the issue if his party came to power in the state.

The Jharkhand High Court had also asked the state government to come up with an action plan to stop the illegal influx of Bangladeshis in the region. However, no concrete steps have been taken so far.

  • DNA Exclusive: Will India Take A Cue From Israel’s Playbook To Kill Hafiz Saeed Like Ismail Haniyeh? ,

Israel has avenged the October 7 terrorist attack by killing Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in a missile strike in Iran. Haniyeh was the mastermind behind the recent attacks on Israel and had been living in Qatar before moving to Iran. His death is a significant blow to Hamas and a warning to other terrorist groups. This raises the question of whether India will follow suit and take out its own most wanted terrorist, Hafiz Saeed, who is responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

In today’s DNA, Zee News’ Anant Tyagi raised analyzed whether India take cue from Israel’s assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and take out its own most wanted terrorist, Hafiz Saeed, who is responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

This raises questions about India’s approach to dealing with its own most wanted terrorists, such as Hafiz Saeed. Will New Delhi take a cue from Israel’s playbook and take decisive action against those responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks

Israel has shown that it will stop at nothing to protect its citizens and take down its enemies, even if it means operating outside its borders. The country has taken out several high-profile targets in recent months, including Hamas commanders and Iranian military leaders.

The operation to kill Haniyeh was months in the making, with Israeli intelligence agencies tracking his movements and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The attack was carried out with precision and minimal collateral damage, a testament to Israel’s military prowess.

Haniyeh’s death is a significant achievement for Israel, but it is not the first time the country has taken down a high-profile target. In recent months, Israel has eliminated several top Hamas and Hezbollah commanders, sending a strong message to terrorist groups that they will not be tolerated.

  • Wayanad Landslides: 123 Killed, 128 Injured Amid Ongoing Rescue Operations |

In a devastating natural disaster in Kerala, massive landslides caused by torrential rains in Wayanad on Tuesday have resulted in at least 123 fatalities and 128 injuries. With many still trapped under debris, there is a grave concern for the increase in death toll as rescue teams work tirelessly to find survivors. According to government sources, the death count currently stands at 123. The Kerala government has declared two days of state mourning on July 30 and 31 in light of the tragic landslides, and all state government events have been deferred.

    Rescue Operation

The Indian Army has been called in to assist with rescue efforts after a temporary bridge connecting the affected area to the nearest town was destroyed. Four Army columns, including two from the 122 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) and two from the DSC Center in Kannur, have been mobilized. Two helicopters from the Indian Air Force are also aiding in the rescue operations, as per a statement from the office of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. However, rescue efforts are hampered by the lack of internet connectivity in the area.

State Forest Minister AK Saseendran described the situation as serious, emphasizing that all available agencies are working on the rescue operations. A special control room has been established by the district administration at the police headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram to coordinate efforts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, assuring him of all possible assistance from the central government. The Prime Minister’s Office announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the families of those who lost their lives in the landslides. Additionally, the injured will receive Rs. 50,000.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast heavy rains for the district, which contributed to the landslides. The situation remains critical as authorities continue their efforts to rescue those still trapped and provide relief to the affected areas.

MCD Seals Vikas Divyakriti’s Dristhi IAS Coaching Center

Following the tragic incident at Rau IAS academy in Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar area that killed three UPSC aspirants, authorities took immediate action and sealed the Drishti Coaching Center located in the basement of a mall at Mukherjee Nagar’s Nehru Vihar. Popular UPSC teacher Vikas Divyakirti is the founder and managing director of ‘Drishti IAS’. MCD sealed this coaching center with 300 students running in the basement on Monday. After the death of 3 UPSC students in the basement of a coaching institute in Delhi, other students are extremely angry with the silence of Vikas Divyakirti.

The coaching centre, located in the basement of the Varadhman Mall, had been operating under dangerous conditions, putting the lives of hundreds of students at risk. Students who attended classes at the Drishti Coaching Center revealed that a large drain near the mall had caused the building to become structurally unsound. The coaching center was operating in the basement, where five classes were held simultaneously.

Following the Old Rajinder Nagar incident, the administration has sealed over 13 coaching centers in Delhi, including the one in Nehru Vihar. An inspection of the premises revealed shocking safety hazards, including a power plant located next to the classrooms, with dozens of electric meters and wires. Additionally, a sewage system was found to be in close proximity to the classrooms, posing a constant risk of methane gas buildup.

Taking into account these alarming facts, administrative officials sealed the coaching centre, taking strict action against the operators. The move has brought relief to students who were earlier worried about their safety.

  • Center Relocates 2,000 BSF Personnel From Odisha To Enhance Security In Jammu And Kashmir |

NEW DELHI: In a swift response to recent terror attacks, the government has ordered the relocation of over 2,000 Border Security Force (BSF) personnel from Odisha to the volatile Jammu and Kashmir region along the India-Pakistan border, sources said on Saturday. This strategic move aims to bolster security and counter the escalating threats in the Union Territory.

Amid rising concerns over security breaches, the government has taken decisive action by directing the immediate movement of two BSF battalions, totaling more than 2,000 troops, from Odisha to Jammu, said the sources, adding the order was received by the force earlier this week from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). This decision follows a series of recent terror attacks in the Jammu region that have heightened security concerns.

The two battalions extracted from Odisha were previously engaged in anti-Naxal operations, and now they will fortify the defenses in the terror-stricken Jammu region. Official sources confirmed ANI seeking anonymity that the redeployment aims to enhance the security apparatus and curb the menace of terrorism threatening the Jammu and Kashmir.

“By reallocating these forces, the government intends to provide a robust security presence and mitigate the risks posed by the persistent terror activities. The swift execution of this order underscores the urgency and importance of safeguarding the region and ensuring the safety of its inhabitants. Movements of troops are also part of force’s strategic affairs that are taken time to time as per the need,” said the sources.

The Centre’s move comes days after Director General of the BSF Nitin Agrawal on July 21 reviewed the operational readiness of the troops deployed at the Jammu International Border. The BSF chief, who was on two-day visit to the border guarding force’s Jammu frontier from July 20 to assess the security situation along the Jammu International Border, also engaged in detailed discussions with unit commandants, focusing on various operational aspects and the preparedness of the forces, said the forces in a statement.

This review was part of an ongoing effort to ensure the security and efficiency of the BSF in maintaining border integrity and responding to any potential threats. BSF chief’s visit was scheduled a day after the Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the functioning of Multi Agency Center (MAC) of the Intelligence Bureau, directing agencies to increase engagement in the MAC and make a cohesive platform as well as to adopt a whole- of-the government approach towards national security.

Shah chaired the high-level meeting on July 20 evening in the national capital with heads of various security and law enforcement agencies including the BSF. While reviewing the overall internal security situation in the country and the fight against terrorism; the Home Minister also impressed upon all the participants to increase engagement in the MAC and make it into a cohesive platform that brings together all the law enforcement agencies, anti-drug agencies, cyber security and intelligence agencies, for decisive and prompt action.

The Home Minister stresses greater synergy between all the agencies to dismantle the terror networks and their supporting eco-system, to address the evolving security threat scenario of the country. The meeting was held in the wake of recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir within the span of a month which led to the deaths of several Indian Army personnel as well as innocent people raising question on security of the nation.

  • Triple Trouble: BJP Faces Seat Sharing Hurdle For Maharashtra Assembly Polls After Lok Sabha Debacle.

Maharashtra is one of the four poll-bound states going to the elections in the coming month. After facing a debacle in the Lok Sabha polls, the ruling Mahayuti (NDA) consisting of BJP, Shiv Sena-Shinde and NCP-Ajit Pawar is facing a tough challenge to retain power in the Maharashtra assembly elections. In the Lok Sabha elections, the Mahayti bagged only 17 seats out of the total 48 while the opposition party bagged 30 seats.

The Maharashtra assembly has 288 members and the majority mark is 145. In the current assembly, the Mahayuti has 201 MLAs while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) of Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) and the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) – have 67 MLAs.

Now, the three parties – BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP – are looking to strike a seat-sharing deal for the upcoming assembly polls. However, the battle for constituencies has intensified as parties gear up for the upcoming elections. Reports indicate that the BJP aims to contest at least 150 seats, leaving 138 seats for the two allies.

However, the Shiv Sena, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, is targeting a minimum of 100 seats. Therefore, the NCP could get only 38 seats but the Ajit Pawar-led faction is not willing to settle for less than 80 seats.

Securing these numbers is crucial, particularly as the coalition is still reeling from its disappointing performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections. In that contest, the coalition won only 17 of the state’s 48 seats, falling short against the Maha Vikas Aghadi, which secured 30 seats.

Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde are meeting the top BJP leadership including Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the seat-sharing issue and resolve the difference. Finalizing the seats is also important thus to have an early advantage over the MVA which has been in the campaign mode after the Lok Sabha poll boost.

Majumdar’s proposal is seen as a strategic maneuver by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has made substantial gains in North Bengal. This region, encompassing eight districts from Malda to Cooch Behar, holds eight Lok Sabha seats. The BJP’s performance in these districts has been notable: securing one seat in 2014, seven in 2019, and six in 2024. In the 2021 assembly elections, the party won 30 out of 56 seats in North Bengal, highlighting its stronghold in the region.

The idea of creating a separate Gorkhaland within North Bengal has been a long-standing demand. This historical context adds complexity to the current proposal, as any decision regarding regional integration or division would inevitably involve addressing long-standing local aspirations and grievances.
