Let us tell you that under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team has entered the Super 8 of the current World Cup and is considered one of the strong contenders for the title.

Let us tell you that Kohli has played three group matches in the World Cup so far and failed in all three. In such a situation, he may be dropped from T20. However, after this it is possible that he may get a chance to play in T20, but there may be many changes in the teams till the next T20 World Cup.

    Shakib Al Hasan

Anubhi and veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has been playing cricket for Bangladesh since 2006, have also turned 37 years old. Due to his increasing age, he may also retire from T20. He has scored 2515 runs and taken 146 wickets in 125 T20 matches played for Bangladesh.

    david warner

Australia’s legendary opener David Warner has already retired from Test and ODI formats. There is every possibility that the 37-year-old Warner may now retire from T20 as well after the T20 World Cup. Warner has scored 3215 runs in 107 T20 matches for Australia so far.

    angelo mathews

36-year-old Sri Lankan experienced all-rounder Angelo Mathews may also think about retirement after the T20 World Cup. He may retire from T20 and give priority to the other two formats. Mathews has scored 1386 runs and taken 45 wickets in 89 T20 matches for Sri Lanka.

  • Ronaldinho Blasts ‘Worst’ Brazil Squad At Copa America 2024 | Football News

FC Barcelona icon Ronaldinho recently made waves with his remarks to Cartoloucos, declaring that he will not support the Brazil national team in the upcoming Copa America. He criticized the team, stating that it consists of average players and lacks true leadership, sparking widespread discussion ahead of the weekend.

“I’m not going to watch any of the games,” he said about the upcoming Copa America. “Everything is missing, determination, joy, not playing well. I’m not even going to watch a game.”

Sharing the clip on Instagram on Saturday, Ronaldinho doubled down on his statements.

“That’s it guys, it’s over for me,” Ronaldinho wrote in his caption. “This is a sad moment for those who love Brazilian football. It’s difficult to find the energy to watch the games.”

“This is perhaps one of the worst teams in recent years, it has no respectable leaders, just average players for the most part. I’ve been following football since I was a child, long before I thought about becoming a player, and I’ve never seen a situation as bad as this.

“The shirt lacks love, determination and most important of all: football. I repeat: our performance has been one of the worst things I have ever seen. A shame. Therefore, I declare here my abandonment. I will not watch any Copa America game, nor celebrate any victory,” Ronaldinho signed off.

In an interview on the Cartoloucos channel, the 2005 Ballon d’Or winner expressed his belief that Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior is deserving of the prestigious award in 2024, particularly after leading Los Blancos to a LaLiga and Champions League double. Brazil’s Copa América campaign kicks off against Costa Rica on June 24, with Colombia and Paraguay also competing in Group D.

  • India’s Forex Kitty Surges To New Lifetime High Of $655.8 Billion | Economy News

New Delhi: India’s foreign exchange reserves surged by $4.3 billion during the week ended June 7 to scale a lifetime high of $655.8 billion, according to the latest data released by the RBI on Friday. The country’s forex kitty has broken the earlier record of $651.5 billion, as of May 31, that was announced by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on June 7, and has been rising steadily in recent weeks.

The surge in foreign exchange reserves also came on a day when Commerce Ministry data show that India’s exports of goods shot up over 9 per cent in May. “India’s external sector remains resilient and overall, we remain confident of meeting our external financing requirements comfortably,” Das said at a press conference after the monetary policy meeting last week. India, with an expected 15.2 per cent share in world remittances in 2024, also continues to be the largest recipient of remittances globally. Overall, the current account deficit for 2024-25 is expected to remain well within its sustainable level, he added. An increase in the foreign exchange reserves reflects strong fundamentals of the economy and gives the RBI more headroom to stabilise the rupee when it turns volatile. A strong forex kitty enables the RBI to intervene in the spot and forward currency markets by releasing more dollars to prevent the rupee from going into a free fall. Conversely, a declining forex kitty leaves the RBI less space to intervene in the market to prop up the rupee.
