Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and SDM Naveen Thakur were also present with him. The Collector inspected the manufacturing, maintenance, safety norms and licenses of firecrackers in the premises.

Collector gave instructions to strengthen security measures

The Collector said that adequate number of fire extinguishers and sand should be arranged to extinguish the fire in the factories. Mark water points and pipe lines at various places in the campus, so that in case of disaster, fire can be extinguished quickly using water. Contact numbers of ambulance service, fire brigade, nearest police station and important officials of the district administration and their offices should be posted on the campus. Dr. Gaurav Singh said that the workers working there should be informed about the chemicals used in making firecrackers and their safety. Also provide them training from time to time. The Collector said that mock drill should be conducted in the factory within a fixed period of time so that quick measures can be adopted in case of disaster. Besides, the health of the workers should also be checked.

The Collector inspected various rooms in the premises and gave instructions to remove tin sheds at all places and use asbestos sheets in their place. He asked the industrial health officials to inspect the license of the factory in coordination with the central government agency. On this occasion, Assistant Director of Industrial Health and Safety, Vivek Chelkar and related officers were also present.

Team formed to check safety of firecracker factories

It is noteworthy that a team has also been formed on the instructions of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh to check the security of firecracker factories located in the district. According to the information, Hemlata’s husband Tumeshwar Sahu, aged 26, of Kochera village, ended his life by hanging himself along with his 4 year old innocent son and 2 year old daughter in his own house. At the time of the incident, her husband had gone to Gurur Health Center to work as a mechanic, while when the health of the deceased’s mother-in-law deteriorated, her father-in-law took his wife to Gurur Community Health Center in the morning and after getting her admitted to the hospital, she took her belongings home to village Kochera around 3. Came at o’clock. When the front door was locked from inside, daughter-in-law Hemlata called out. When the door was not opened, she went from the back door and looked through the window, then committed suicide by hanging herself with a piece of orange saree on the hook of the ceiling of the shed. In the adjacent hook, the son and daughter were hanging on separate nooses in pieces of green saree.

Family members have no doubts

Father-in-law informed the police about this. The increasing debt in the country is the result of the wrong policies of the Modi government. Today the country is drowned in debt of 81% of GDP. There was a debt of Rs 64 lakh crore in 2014-15, which has increased to Rs 173 lakh crore in 2023-24 under the Modi government.

No, the basic exemption limit has been increased. There is no provision for any kind of deduction in the new tax regime. The reality is that even today the basic exemption limit for income tax is only Rs 2.5 lakh. Not even Rs 1 has been increased in the last 10 years. There is a difference between basic exemption limit and tax rebate, the benefit of tax rebate ends when the limit is crossed, whereas every taxpayer gets the benefit of increasing the basic exemption limit.
