According to the information, Aarti’s husband Ankit, a resident of Chaigaonmakhan, was brought to the district hospital at around 12 noon on Saturday due to pain in his penis. Here Aarti gave birth to a son. Till evening the mother and child were healthy. At around 2 o’clock in the night, Aarti started having pain and started vomiting.
According to mother-in-law Anita Kanade, there was no doctor available here at night. When I informed the staff nurses, they did not pay attention and said that this happens. The relative accused the staff nurses of being busy with their mobile phones.
Said that the patient was not taken care of at night and he died at around seven in the morning. As soon as the relatives got information about the death in the morning, they started creating ruckus. It is being said that the condition of the newborn child is also critical.
Staff also accused of taking money
Aarti’s mother-in-law Anita Kanade said, ‘I would like my daughter-in-law to get justice. The staff doing night duty should be fired, they have no value for anyone’s life. What happened to us should not happen to anyone. Along with this, they should also bear the lifelong expenses of the maintenance and education of their two children.
Another relative said that money was demanded from him for everything. The staff who brought the pregnant woman from OT to the ward took Rs 500. After this, different staff took two thousand rupees in the night itself.
