    Fahadh Faasil is a beloved figure in South Indian cinema, with a strong following among Hindi-speaking audiences. With approximately 23 years in the industry, Faasil has consistently delivered outstanding performances. He has successfully played both antagonist and protagonist roles. The Malayalam actor has also worked in Tamil and Telugu films. In honor of his 43rd birthday, let’s explore five of his most successful films.

    Born in Kerala on August 8, 1982, Abdul Hameed Mohammed Fahadh Faasil, also known as Fahadh Faasil, began his acting career in 2002 with the Malayalam film ‘Kaiyethum Doorath,’ directed by his father, Fazil. Since then, he has appeared in numerous films, with these five standing out in terms of both critical acclaim and commercial success.

    ‘Aavesham’
    Released in 2024 and directed by Jithu Madhavan, ‘Aavesham’ also had Fahadh Faasil as one of its producers. He starred in the lead role alongside actors like Mithun Jai Shankar, Sajin Gopu, and Pooja Mohanraj.

    On IMDb, the film has a rating of 7.8 out of 10. Its budget was 30 crore, and it grossed 154.79 crore worldwide.

    ‘Pushpa: The Rise’
    ‘Pushpa,’ released in 2021, was a significant success, and its second part followed in 2024. Fahadh Faasil played a villain role, which was well-received. Allu Arjun played the lead, providing one of his best performances. Sukumar directed the film, which earned a rating of 7.6 out of 10.

    The first part of ‘Pushpa’ had a budget of 150 crore and earned 350 crore worldwide. The second part, with a budget of 400 crore, earned 1742 crore worldwide.

    ‘Kerala Cafe’
    In the 2009 Malayalam film ‘Kerala Cafe,’ Mammootty played the lead role, with Fahadh Faasil playing a key part. The film earned a 7.4 rating out of 10 on IMDb. With a budget of 2.50 crore, it earned 7 crore. This Malayalam film’s storyline keeps viewers engaged.

    ‘Vikram’
    The Tamil film ‘Vikram,’ released in 2022, starred Kamal Haasan, with Fahadh Faasil also playing an important role. It has an IMDb rating of 8.3 out of 10.

    ‘Vikram’ had a budget of 120 crore, earning 414.43 crore worldwide. The movie is one of Kamal Haasan’s blockbusters and is still popular in South India.

    ‘Kumbalangi Nights’
    ‘Kumbalangi Nights,’ released in 2019, was directed by Madhu C. Narayanan. Fahadh Faasil starred in the lead role, with Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Mathew Thomas, and Anna Ben in supporting roles.

    The film received an 8.5 rating out of 10 on IMDb and grossed 39 crore at the box office against a budget of 4.8 crore.
