Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Gurur police station area of Balod district of Chhattisgarh, where a mother committed suicide by hanging herself along with her two innocent children. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The bodies of the mother and the two children were removed and sent for post-mortem, Panchnama was done. Police is investigating from all angles.
According to the information, Hemlata’s husband Tumeshwar Sahu, aged 26, of Kochera village, ended his life by hanging himself along with his 4 year old innocent son and 2 year old daughter in his own house. At the time of the incident, her husband had gone to Gurur Health Center to work as a mechanic, while when the health of the deceased’s mother-in-law deteriorated, her father-in-law took his wife to Gurur Community Health Center in the morning and after getting her admitted to the hospital, she took her belongings home to village Kochera around 3. Came at o’clock. When the front door was locked from inside, daughter-in-law Hemlata called out. When the door was not opened, she went from the back door and looked through the window, then committed suicide by hanging herself with a piece of orange saree on the hook of the ceiling of the shed. In the adjacent hook, the son and daughter were hanging on separate nooses in pieces of green saree.
Family members have no doubts
Father-in-law informed the police about this. Immediately Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Nayak, Police Sub-Divisional Officer Boney Foss, Ekka police station in-charge Gurur, Executive Magistrate were present and took the action of inspecting the body. In the investigation so far, it has been found that the deceased died by hanging. The family members have not expressed any kind of doubt. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
No suicide note found
In this case, Additional SP Sushil Nayak said that no suicide note of any kind has been recovered from the incident site. The bodies of the mother and the two children have been removed and sent for post-mortem after doing Panchnama. Investigation is being done from all angles.
