Dantewada. The young man who raped a minor on the pretext of marriage has been arrested by the police within 24 hours and sent to jail. The girl’s mother had filed a missing report. The police has taken prompt action on this.
On the report of the applicant, the station in-charge started investigation and action. During address search, information was received about the presence of a minor kidnapped girl in Geedam. The police team left for Geedam along with the parents of the kidnapped minor girl. On reaching the place of receiving the information, it was found that the accused Rajesh Soni, father Bhaskar Soni, aged 19 years, resident of Geedam, was keeping a minor kidnapped girl with him, who was recovered and interrogated in detail by the female investigator in the women’s desk.
The victim told that she knew Rajesh Soni, a resident of Geedam. Rajesh Soni, after going to Geedam, took her to his friend’s rented house on the pretext of marriage and forcibly had physical relations with her several times. By adding section 366,376 (2) (n) of Indian Penal Code, 04 POCSO Act against the accused, accused Rajesh Soni father Bhaskar was arrested within 24 hours today and sent to jail on judicial remand.
