Chainsaw Man Movie’s Indian Box Office Performance and Comparison to Demon Slayer

The highly anticipated anime film, ‘Chainsaw Man- The Movie: Reze Arc,’ has premiered in India, following its positive reception internationally. This movie, derived from the beloved manga, is considered by many to be exceptional. Although the film has found popularity and experienced a good response at the Indian box office, it hasn’t yet matched the remarkable success of ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle’. The Chainsaw Man film has generated a total of Rs 2.53 crore within the first four days of its release. The film’s earnings on day 4 were approximately Rs 34 lakh. The storyline centers around Denji’s transformation into Chainsaw Man and his involvement with the Special Division 4’s Devil Hunters. The plot thickens when he meets Reze. The voice cast features Kikunosuke Toya, Reina Ueda, Fairouz Ai, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, Shiori Izawa, Karin Takahashi, Maaya Uchida, Natsuki Hanae and Yūya Uchida. The ‘Chainsaw Man’ anime is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which revolves around Denji, who merges with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil. The story also highlights his activities with the Public Safety Devil Hunters, fighting against the threats of Devils in Japan.
