    Water level increased in Kwari river.

    Highlights

    Continuous rain in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Police made announcements in nearby villages. Administration is keeping an eye on the villages along the river.

However, Chambal river is flowing 3.85 meters below the danger mark, Sindh 5.05 meters and Kwari river is flowing just 1.34 meters below the danger mark at 4 pm. An alert has been issued in the villages on the banks of Kwari river. If the water level rises further, the people of these villages will be sent to safer places.

    Due to continuous rains in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the water level in Chambal, Sindh and Kwari rivers is rising. At 8 am on Tuesday, the water level at Udi Ghat reached 115.95 meters, 3.85 meters away from the danger mark of 119.80.

    There is a danger of flood in these villages

    Baghedi, Eguri, Bagulari, Kachongra, Parsona, Mirchauli of Bhind on the banks of the Kwari river, Guvarihai of Bajhai, Nagaur of Rampura. Hariksha, Sikroda, Parosa, Sukand, Aaroli, Khera, Kutroli, Kachanavkhurd, Chandeni of Gormi.

    The police made an announcement

    In view of the continuously rising water level in the Chambal river, the in-charges of the police stations near the river have made an announcement in the affected villages on Wednesday morning. The police told the villagers not to take their cattle etc. towards the river now. Also, they themselves should not go to the river bank. Also, the people of the villages where water had reached in the past years should go to a safe place with their valuables, grains and cattle etc.

    No more water has been released in Chambal and Sindh, due to which the water level of the river will start decreasing from Thursday. But the water level of the Kwari river is increasing. The administration is keeping a close watch on the villages along the river.
