    Raipur, September 09, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met representatives of various business associations of the state at Mahanadi Bhawan located in Nava Raipur and expressed gratitude for the reforms made in GST. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that GST has not only empowered the business world, but has also seen a significant increase in transparency and tax collection. He said that this system will make India more competitive in global trade.

    The Chief Minister said that the Goods and Services Tax (GST), considered the biggest reform in India’s tax system so far, is providing new energy to the business world of the state and the country. The recent reforms made in GST have provided significant relief to the industries and traders of the state as well as the general public.

    He said that a significant increase has been recorded in the tax collection of Chhattisgarh state, which will make more resources available for development works. This improvement will prove helpful in taking the future economy to new heights.

    On this occasion, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, along with representatives of various business organizations of the state were present.
