    Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has concluded meetings in Seoul with the leadership of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). The discussions focused on bolstering economic cooperation and exploring opportunities for investment, technological advancement, and skill development in Chhattisgarh. The meeting included discussions with Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun. The KITA, with over 77,000 members, is a major player in Asian trade. Chief Minister Sai presented Chhattisgarh’s industrial policy, emphasizing its natural resources and skilled workforce. He also discussed the potential for investment, technology transfer, and skill development. Sai noted the strong cultural and historical links between South Korea and Chhattisgarh. He believes the meeting will enhance investment, technology, and skills development, providing opportunities for modern industry to the youth and boosting industrial growth. He highlighted the government’s commitment to a conducive environment for investors, including efficient approval processes and crucial infrastructure. Sai expressed confidence that the partnership with KITA would elevate Chhattisgarh’s global industrial profile. KITA’s leaders expressed interest in Chhattisgarh’s investor-friendly policies and resources, with Korean companies eager to invest and establish robust partnerships. The Chief Minister highlighted how the collaboration will benefit Chhattisgarh’s farmers, laborers, and local entrepreneurs, particularly through job creation in sectors such as food processing and renewable energy. Technology transfer is projected to improve local industries’ competitiveness. This should lead to the state’s economic advancement, with Chhattisgarh setting a new standard for self-reliance and global collaboration in the years to come.
