Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s visit to Japan began with a visit to Tokyo’s historic Asakusa Temple, a symbol of peace and strength. He sought blessings for the people of Chhattisgarh, praying for their happiness and prosperity. The CM then met with Kayo Ito, the CEO of NTT Ltd., a leading international IT and digital solutions provider.

The discussions centered on potential investment opportunities within Chhattisgarh, with a specific focus on technology-based initiatives. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of bolstering the state’s digital ecosystem, considering NTT’s expertise in cloud computing and cybersecurity.

A dinner hosted by the Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, provided an opportunity to discuss fostering stronger economic ties between Indo-Pacific countries via trade and industry. Emphasis was placed on achieving economic stability, securing trade, maintaining environmental balance, and promoting industrial growth.

CM Sai highlighted the potential for a strong industrial partnership, leveraging Japan’s advanced technology with India’s skilled workforce. He also expressed a desire to encourage cultural exchange and promote Chhattisgarh as a prime tourism destination for Japanese visitors.
