Chhattisgarh Employees to Receive Central-Level DA of 58%

Chhattisgarh’s government employees are set to receive a significant financial uplift as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) to 58%, mirroring the rates offered by the Central Government. This move addresses a key demand from employee unions and signals a strong commitment to their economic well-being. The announcement was made at the eighth state convention of the State Employees Union. CM Sai addressed the gathering, acknowledging the hard work of the state’s employees. He affirmed that the government prioritizes employee welfare and has decided to grant DA at par with the central government, a step that many other states have yet to take. This decision aims to provide immediate financial relief.
