The state government has undertaken a significant reshuffle within the finance department, leading to the transfer of a considerable number of officers and employees. Moreover, several officers have been relieved of their additional responsibilities.
In a separate development, the state government had previously extended the period of relaxation regarding transfers, as per the 2025 transfer policy. This extension means that the relaxation on transfers will now be in effect until June 30, 2025. Previously, this was slated to end on June 25, 2025.
An order has been issued by the General Administration Department in this regard. The order modifies the deadline for the relaxation provided on the transfer ban, as detailed in the June 5, 2025, circular, with the new end date being June 30, 2025.
