    The silver jubilee of the Chhattisgarh High Court was marked by a special celebration, with Governor Ramechandra Deka as the chief guest. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers, various ministers, and former Governor Ramesh Bais. The Governor discussed the court’s history since the state’s inception in 2000. He commended the court’s role in safeguarding citizens’ rights and its prompt handling of cases through Lok Adalats, aiming to reduce the backlog and expedite justice. Chief Minister Sai acknowledged the contributions of former leaders and highlighted technological advancements in the justice system under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the shift from a focus on punishment to a focus on justice. Justice JK Maheshwari spoke on the occasion, emphasizing the importance of faith in the justice system. The event also featured speeches by judges, legal professionals, and government officials.
