Chhattisgarh Hosts National Kickboxing Championship: CM Sai Promotes Sports and Youth Development

The WAKO India National Kickboxing Championship 2025 concluded in Raipur, with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai gracing the closing and award ceremony. He welcomed athletes and coaches from across India to Chhattisgarh, highlighting the state’s cultural and geographical diversity. Sai emphasized how sports like kickboxing contribute to the development of courage, strength, and resolve in youth. The Chief Minister spoke about the Khelo India program and the state government’s initiatives to boost sports through infrastructure development, training, and incentives. He congratulated the top-performing teams, praised Chhattisgarh’s performance in the championship, and recognized the Assam Rifles. MP Brijmohan Agrawal and Mayor Meenal Choubey also addressed the event, stressing the importance of sports in daily life and for overall well-being.
