Raipur, October 7, 2025/The holy land of Chhattisgarh is not only the birthplace of Mother Kaushalya but also the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram — this is a matter of great fortune and pride for us. Lord Shri Ram spent most of his fourteen-year exile in this sacred land of Chhattisgarh, illuminating this land with the divinity of devotion, sacrifice, and dignity. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this today while addressing a condolence meeting organized at Maa Kausalya Dham, Jamdi Paateshwar Ashram in the village Bade Jungera, Daundi Lohara development block of Balod district.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid tribute by reaching the samadhi sites of Saint Shri Ramkrishnadas Mahatyagi and Saint Shri Ramjankidas Mahatyagi. Paying homage to the contribution of both the saintly great souls to the nation, society, and spirituality, he said that this land of Chhattisgarh is still illuminated by their sacrifice, penance, and service.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Babaji was a brilliant sadhak and a symbol of sacrifice, service, and spirituality. He dedicated his entire life to public welfare and service to humanity.
He said that the inspiration of such saints is the soul of our society and the foundation of the cultural pride of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this divine abode taking shape in the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram will be a symbol of Chhattisgarh’s faith, culture, and pride. He met Sant Balak Das Mahatyagi ji and took detailed information about the progress of the construction work.

On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, MP Shri Bhojraj Nag, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, along with many public representatives and a large number of devotees were present.
