Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah recently met with Chhattisgarh officials in New Delhi to acknowledge their contributions to successful anti-Naxal operations, highlighting the Modi government’s commitment to eradicating Naxalism. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present.

In a social media post, Shah expressed his appreciation for the officers involved and announced his plan to meet with the soldiers involved in the operations. He emphasized the government’s dedication to overcoming the Naxal threat.

The anti-Maoist operations are being carried out in Chhattisgarh under the direction of the Union Home and Cooperation Minister. From May 18, 2025, to May 21, 2025, a key operation was conducted in the Abujhmad area involving the Chhattisgarh Police and DRG forces from Narayanpur, Dantewada, Kondagaon, and Bijapur.
