The new service commenced with a green signal from the Chief Minister, launching a MEMU train service from Rajim to Raipur. The Raipur-Abhanpur 2 MEMU rail service was also extended to Rajim. A large number of passengers enthusiastically boarded the train, heading to Raipur. The introduction of an affordable and easily accessible rail service has led to widespread joy and enthusiasm throughout the region.
The Chief Minister noted the new rail service provides the people of Rajim, Gariaband, and Devbhog with a more affordable means to travel to Raipur. This train will greatly benefit students, working professionals, and traders. With Rajim now connected to the rail network, travel from rural areas to the capital will become more streamlined, convenient, and economical.
