    Chhattisgarh Won Gold for the First Time

    The Pair of Sooraj Singh Parihar IPS and Akarshi Kashyap DSP Won the Gold Medal

    The Silver Medal in the Competition also Remained in the Name of Chhattisgarh

    In Mixed Doubles, the Pair of IPS Bhavna Gupta and Mormuta of Mizoram Won the Silver Medal

    Raipur, April 16, 2025/ Chhattisgarh has waved its flag in the mixed doubles event of the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament. Chhattisgarh has won the gold medal in this event for the first time. The silver medal in the competition also remained in the name of Chhattisgarh.

    Chhattisgarh secured third position in the medal tally among 43 teams in the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament held from April 11 to 15 at the Regional Sports Centre Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium Kadavanthra, Ernakulam, Kerala. Chhattisgarh won a total of 11 medals in badminton and table tennis. The 5-day program concluded today in Kochi, Kerala. Prior to this, Chhattisgarh had won 5 medals in Chandigarh.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated and wished the Chhattisgarh Police and medal winners for this outstanding achievement in the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament. This achievement of the officers of Chhattisgarh Police is inspiring for other players.
