Rohit Kashyap, Mungeli. A soldier from Mungeli posted in Agniveer has been mysteriously missing for the past 2 months. His family is constantly making rounds of various departments to find him, but he is nowhere to be found.

In the year 2023, Jawan Rakesh Kumar Nishad, a resident of Goindhri village of Patharia development block of Mungeli district, was appointed in Agniveer Yojana. After 8 months of training in Nashik, Maharashtra, he was posted in Jaipur SATA Battalion in October 2023. Rakesh had come to his village on leave on Holi festival, but after returning, he kept in touch with his family on mobile but suddenly his mobile was switched off. After which the family members had lost contact with him. When the family of the youth contacted the officials of Jaipur, then the officials there told them through a call that he had escaped from the center by jumping over the wall and his file has been sent to Nashik. Therefore, he should contact in Nashik.

Here the family members are constantly searching for their son but no one is getting any information. This time the family members have met Mungeli SP Girija Shankar Jaiswal along with District Panchayat Vice President Sanjit Banerjee. On which they say that the SP has promised to help in every possible way. At the same time, the family members are very upset. Also, the public representative asked the government and administration to take cognizance.

When the Lalluram.com team talked to the Additional SP on this matter, he said that the complaint of the family members has been received. The police will investigate this matter with the help of every technical help including cyber cell. Apart from this, we will also contact the police officers of the concerned places and take their cooperation in this matter.
