    Chhattisgarh’s art reaching Ireland is a matter of pride: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
    Raipur January 21, 2026/A strong glimpse of India’s cultural diversity was seen in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, when the Indian Embassy, Dublin, successfully organized a grand cultural event focused on the state of Chhattisgarh as part of the State Cultural Event Series. Members of the Indian community living in Ireland also enthusiastically participated in this event.

    The program was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Ireland, Mr. Akhilesh Mishra. Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, tribal traditions, and the state’s unique identity, he said that such events powerfully present India’s diversity on the global stage.

    A detailed presentation on Chhattisgarh was given during the event, impressively showcasing the state’s art, culture, traditions, and development journey. Additionally, an exhibition of traditional Chhattisgarh handicrafts particularly attracted visitors, where the intricacy and beauty of the state’s craftsmanship were appreciated.

    In the series of cultural programs, folk dances and cultural presentations performed in traditional attire captivated the audience. The vibrant performances of the artists carried the soul of Chhattisgarh’s folk culture to the land of Ireland and received immense praise from the audience.

    The program concluded with traditional Chhattisgarh cuisine, acquainting the guests present with the state’s delicious culinary traditions. Overall, this event proved to be a significant initiative in establishing Chhattisgarh’s art, culture, and identity on the international stage.

    Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Chhattisgarh-centric cultural program organized in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, has given a new international identity to Chhattisgarh’s rich art, culture, and traditions. Calling it a moment of pride for Chhattisgarh, he said that the state’s folk culture is now reaching global audiences.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this program organized by the Indian Embassy, Dublin, under the State Cultural Event Series powerfully presents India’s cultural diversity and the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Great India). He appreciated the Indian Embassy and the Indian community living in Ireland for this event.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that Chhattisgarh’s tribal art, handicrafts, and folk traditions are the very foundation of the state’s identity. The appreciation of Chhattisgarh’s handicrafts, traditional costumes, and cultural presentations by international audiences through this event organized in Ireland is inspiring for the state’s artists and artisans. He said that such cultural events also open up new global possibilities for tourism, handicrafts, and local products. The Chhattisgarh government is continuously striving for the conservation and promotion of the state’s art and culture.
