The role of Akashvani News in taking the policies of development, good governance, and public welfare of Chhattisgarh to the masses is highly commendable – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the completion of the glorious 25-year journey of Akashvani News’s regional bulletin in Chhattisgarh. He said that on the very day Chhattisgarh state was established, the commencement of Akashvani News’s regional bulletin added a chapter that gave a new direction to the language and communication tradition of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in these 25 years, Akashvani News has given voice to every stage of Chhattisgarh’s development journey. Initially started in Hindi, this bulletin is now broadcasting news and current affairs programs in four languages and dialects — Hindi, Chhattisgarhi, Halbi, and Gondi. This multilingual broadcast is a strong example of respecting Chhattisgarh’s linguistic diversity and cultural identity.

He said that Akashvani News has always played an important role in making people aware in urban, rural, and tribal areas, by embodying its motto of ‘Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya’ (for the welfare of many, for the happiness of many).

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the contribution of Akashvani News in taking the policies of development, good governance, and public welfare of Chhattisgarh to the masses has been extremely commendable.

He expressed confidence that Akashvani News will continue to fulfill this responsibility of public service even more powerfully in the coming years with its impartiality, sensitivity, and people-oriented approach.
