Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Chief Minister, Jharkhand

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the state government will provide state employees with the opportunity to work in a better environment and is fully committed to their economic security. As a responsive government, we are constantly taking steps for the welfare of those who serve the state. In this spirit, today at the Jharkhand ministry, the state government and Bank of India signed an MOU concerning salary and pension account packages for state government employees. This is a beautiful moment for the staff. It is a decisive step toward providing financial assistance in cases of accidents, besides salaries, pension, and health security during their employment.

    Empower society’s last line

Chief Minister said that the person sitting in society’s last line should be strong and empowered socio‑economically and educationally, and that is the thinking and vision with which the government works. Our aim is to reach every such person with government welfare schemes, especially those far from development. This initiative gives banks an important role and the government believes banks will fully cooperate.

An Important Role of Banks in Inclusive Development

Chief Minister said that banks have an important role in the inclusive development of the state. State residents are benefiting from various bank services. Many important government schemes are reaching ordinary people through banks. In the coming days, banks will play an even more decisive role. I am happy that Bank of India has taken a step as an important partner of the state government. More banks will join in this initiative, contributing significantly to the state’s development; I am fully hopeful.
