    Ratanpur, November 9, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the Kalchuri Kalar Samaj Mahasammelan organized in Ratanpur, Bilaspur district. He inaugurated the grand conference by worshiping Lord Sahastrabahu and brave Kalari Dai.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that a work plan of Rs 200 crore under the Prasad scheme of the Central Government has been sent for approval for the overall development of the religious city Ratanpur, which is likely to be approved soon. He announced the establishment of a 100-bed hospital in Ratanpur and the sanction of Rs 1 crore for the construction of a community building for the Kalchuri community.

    The program was presided over by the state’s Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. On this occasion, Culture and Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, MLAs Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Amar Agarwal, Shri Sushant Shukla, Shri Atal Shrivastava, Smt. Sangeeta Sinha, Zila Panchayat President Rajesh Suryavanshi, CREDA Chairman Shri Bhupendra Savanni, Yoga Commission Chairman Shri Rupnarayan Sinha, and Mayor Smt. Pooja Vidhani were specially present.

    Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Kalchuri dynasty ruled for approximately 1200 years in many parts of the country, including Ratanpur. During their reign, the subjects were happy and the country was prosperous. He said that by the grace of Maa Mahamaya, Chhattisgarh is developing at a rapid pace.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our Chhattisgarh is a prosperous state located in the heart of the country, rich in mineral, forest, and water resources. He said that our government will take the state further on the path of progress, bringing the people of the state along. He informed that our government has been in power for only 22 months, and even in this short period, almost all major promises made as Modi’s guarantee have been fulfilled.

    The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make India a new and powerful India. He said that as per the promise made to the farmers, the government is purchasing paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. He said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs 1,000 per month is being provided to approximately 70 lakh women in the state.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah have set a target to make Chhattisgarh completely free from the Naxal problem by March 31, 2026. Work is progressing rapidly in this direction. Development works have been started at a rapid pace in the Naxal-affected villages. In the last few months, many villages in Bastar have been reconnected to the mainstream of development.

    The Chief Minister said that the new industrial policy has been appreciated across the country. So far, investment proposals worth Rs 7.5 lakh crore have been received. Among these, the establishment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and semiconductor industries has started. The new policy prioritizes job creation, and industries creating more employment are being given special concessions. He urged all citizens of the state to take advantage of these policies.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government has released Vision Document-2047. The participation of every section of society is essential to achieve the goals set in it.

    Presiding over the program, Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that Ratanpur has been a major center of Kalchuri rule. The Kalchuris ruled in various parts of the country for about 1200 years. He said that the pace of development work is very fast under the double-engine government.

    Shri Jaiswal said that the state government is carrying forward the public welfare works done by the ancestors of the Kalchuri community. The Kalchuris built ponds, roads, and irrigation projects during their time—the current government is also prioritizing and advancing those traditions. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai for naming a chowk in Naya Raipur after Lord Sahastrabahu.

    In the program, Culture and Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that our Sanatan culture is a symbol of social harmony and holds equal respect for the deities of all communities. Mohit Jaiswal of Kalchuri Kalar Samaj delivered the welcome speech at the event.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Performed Formal Worship at Maa Mahamaya Temple

    Before attending the Mahasammelan, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited Maa Mahamaya Temple and performed formal worship and aarti. He sought the blessings of Maa Mahamaya, praying for the prosperity and well-being of Chhattisgarh.
